Thank you so much for being here. This guide was created from my heart—for mothers just like you. Women who are wise, curious, and deeply invested in experiencing birth as more than just a moment… but as a sacred transformation.

 
Why I Created This Guide

I created the Sacred Birth Sanctuary because I know how it feels to crave depth in a world that often stays on the surface. To want more than checklists and hospital bags. To feel the pull toward sacredness—but not always know where to begin. I created this space for the woman who knows her birth is a rite of passage… Who feels her pregnancy shifting her from the inside out…
Who doesn’t want to just prepare for birth—she wants to embody it. 
This sanctuary is for you if you’re ready to be guided, not pressured.
To connect to your body, not control it. To mother yourself, even as you prepare to meet your child.

It’s a place where wisdom meets reverence, where information is grounded in soul,
and where you can return to yourself again and again as the months unfold.

 
How to Use It

This is a slow, sacred unfolding. There is no “behind.” No rush. No finish line.
You can move through the material in whatever rhythm serves you best.

Here’s a gentle way to begin:

  1. Start With the Monthly Theme:
    Each month has a central focus—emotional, physical, or spiritual. Begin there. Explore the practices, journal prompts, and guided resources connected to that theme. Let it open something in you.

  2. Explore the Library When Called:
    The resource library is always available. Browse it when you feel drawn. There’s no need to “complete” everything. Trust what resonates.

  3. Create Ritual With It:
    Light a candle. Breathe deeply. Use this space as a ritual of returning to yourself. Even 10 minutes with one of the audio practices can shift your entire day.

  4. Let Your Body Lead:
    Some weeks, you may feel called to journal. Others, you may want to move or rest. There’s no right way. Your body is wise—she knows what she needs.

  5. Come Back Often:
    This isn’t a one-time course—it’s a sanctuary. A space to return to when you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply in need of remembrance.

This will be monthly soft words to return to. Allowing these words to become repetition, words you ground into and use daily, to remind you. 
Birth Doula Guide:
Please do not rush through this material. This is here for you when/if you need it. So you don't have to do the research, it's already done for you
Sacred Journaling for Pregnancy 
Here you will find guided journal prompts for each trimester into post partum to support your growth and deepening in body, mind, and spirit. 
Breathing Practice for Grounding
This is a somatic grounding practice to help you connect to your body and baby. I ask that you incorporate this multiple times a week, if you can daily.

I’m Xerces – Your Guide to Sacred Motherhood.

Pregnancy and motherhood are sacred journeys meant to be embodied and cherished. I help mothers preparing for VBAC or unmedicated birth reconnect with their emotions and bodies, cultivating empowerment, trust, and alignment through emotional and somatic embodiment. 

As a certified birth doula with expertise in somatic practices and emotional health, I guide you to trust your body’s wisdom and create a meaningful, connected foundation for your family. Together, we’ll turn overwhelm into ease and transform this season into one of growth, peace, and joy.

A little about me:

  • I’m passionate about creating accessible tools and programs that nurture emotional and physical connection during pregnancy and motherhood.

  • Outside of my work, I love spending time on my farm with my husband and daughter, exploring nature, and finding new ways to deepen our family’s connection.
